when does the blood clots stop? and when does the normal m/s begin?

Its going to be different for everyone.  I also m/c naturally (it sounds as though that is what you are experiencing).  I bled for a week, the worst of it was Day 2 (clots & tissue stopped after Day 4).  My doctor said it was normal to bleed as much as two weeks though. 

I'm not sure what you mean by your second question.  Guessing you meant m/c (miscarriage)  and not m/s (morning sickness)...in which case I think the answer would be that there is a good chance you're already having a 'normal' natural m/c if you're seeing clots and such.

oh I was 6 weeks, I forgot to mention that...just wondering how many days I should expect the bleeding so I can start again....

Ah, that makes the m/c thing make more sense.

Like I mentioned before, my doc said up to 2 weeks is normal.  If you haven't already, I'd really suggest talking to your doctor.  They should be able to give you a recommendation as to when you could try again. That is also going to vary.  The doc may also want to check you to make sure your hcg is heading to 0 and that everything has cleared out that should.

ETA: Just realized you may be asking when your period might come back.  That will also vary and there is a survey on that FAQ page.  Mine was right on schedule (29 days), but others have taken upwards of 8 weeks.  My doc mentioned that 4-6 weeks is pretty common.

This is definitely different for everyone. I don't want to scare you, as I had a very bad experience with my miscarriage, but just in case it may help. 

I started spotting very lightly. By day 3 I was passing tissue and clots. Day 7 I was bleeding heavily and passing what I thought were large clots (about the size of grapes) and you could really feel them coming out. (Sorry if TMI). On day 10 severe menstrual cramps hit in the middle of the night and the bleeding and clots were out of control. I was in emergency for 4 hours and passed a clot the size of an orange which was the largest my nurse had ever seen. I was bleeding so heavily that they were preparing me for a blood transfusion.  Luckily (as lucky as you can get in this sad situation), a surgeon was called in to perform an emergency D&C before I had to have a transfusion. I am now on the mend physically and the bleeding has finally stopped. Still no sign of AF, but it has only been 2 weeks since the D&C. 

I hope your experience isn't anything like this at all. A miscarriage is a horrible experience no matter what happens, but I at least hope it is easy for you physically. Good luck with this and in the future!! xo
