Do you feel like you are bringing everything except the kitchen sink lol? We are leaving Sunday to visit DH's family for a week. I was packing DS today and there is so much to take! He has his suitcase, the booster, the PNP, etc.
We still have to fit my and DH's crap and presents into our suv. Any packing tips? I overpacked clothes wise for DS because you never know what kidn of accidents will happen throughout the day.
Re: So when you travel with LO....
I have no advice but I hear ya! It's such a pain! Clothes, diapers, wipes, pack n play, cups, bowls, snacks...then he needs his lovey and pillow pet...so much crap!
And hey, what ever happened with those tingly and itchy boobs?
Still there and they are spilling out of my bra. It could just be pms symptoms since this is my first month of BC and I don't know how my body will react to AF not on BC. I'm not really sure what day I'm suppose to start but I know it's before the first. If I don't get AF before next Friday I'm going to test then.
Good idea! Didn't even think about that! We will be staying with DH's aunt so there will be a place to do laundry.
Isn't it the biggest PITA that pregnancy and PMS symptoms are identical?? My friend doesn't t regular periods at all, but she did ovulate this month and should be getting her period any day now.(Doesn't want to be pg right now, but hoping to get her periods on track for when she does TTC). And today her boobs are bigger and she is cramping some and she's like "I hope it means I am getting my period!" and I was like "yeah, or you're pg". lol
I agree with going shopping once you get where you are going and buying everything that you can buy once you get there. Food, diapers, wipes, etc. Pack sippy cups, clothes, a few toys, etc. I can understand the clothing issue. I always pack 2-3 outfits per day that we are going to be out of town. Fortunately, her clothes don't take up too much space. I also like her to always be wearing something super cute when we are visiting family and so I take complete outfits, instead of just taking several extra onesies.
I agree, and we have a little sedan and a dog to bring with us too! We keep a booster seat and extra PNP at my inlaws so we don't have to bring that. They were hand-me-downs, so we didn't have to pay for them. But, you could see if you can get some things used and leave them there if you travel to the same place often.
Also, can you do laundry there if necessary? That way you might not have to over pack clothes.
We co-sleep when traveling. I would buy a booster there and leave it so it's there next time.
I just packed up our presents and gear to go across town for 1 night and the presents barely fit in my car. I told DH that if we ever travel out of state for Christmas with more than 1 kid we'll have to take 2 cars, LOL
