we are bedsharing with almost 6 mo DD and for the most part i love it. lately though she has been wanting to nurse constantly thru the night. i know it is for comfort, not hunger, since she is old, and big, enough to go without. if i dont offer her the breast she will fuss and then cry and wake herself up. i am hoping this is something she will grow out of, but if not i want to stop it before the pattern becomes too ingrained.

We too are going through the same thing.  I'm following NCSS and it's really helping -- though I'm focusing on naps vs. night time sleep since I pretty much nurse her in my sleep at this point!
