YAY! officially on maternity leave! (and some updates)

Hey ladies.  I know that I have pretty much dropped of the face of the earth these past few months, but the combination of teaching full-time, keeping up with an energetic toddler, and getting ready for the holidays has really kicked my butt.  But I am happy to say that yesterday was my last day of work and I am officially a SAHM again until September -  WooHoo!!!    So, hopefully I will actually be around on the board again.  Hope you girls haven't forgotten about me!

I hope that everyone is doing well.  I have tried to keep up some with at least reading posts, but it's been hard to find time to even do that.  As for us, things have been going really well.  I am at the point in my pregnancy where I am starting to feel really huge and uncomfortable, so I'm so releived to be done with work.  When I was at the dr last week, my belly was measuring about 10 days ahead (yikes!), so it will be interesting to see how big baby looks at the next u/s.  My CS is scheduled for 1/22 (39 wks) and I am hoping that I will make it til then.  Everyone and their brother seems to think that I am going to have this baby early, or just assumes that I am due like tomorrow.  I can't even tell you how many times I have heard "OMG, you look miserable!" these past two weeks and one of my students made a point of telling me that I look especially huge earlier in the week.  Thaaaanks people.  Cause that just makes me feel great!

Anyways, I guess that's enough rambling from me.  Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and all the LO's enjoy it!

And wow, seeing my siggy reminds me just how long it has been since I've been posting!  I guess it's time to take down the summer pic.  And I feel like my belly is like twice that size now - lol!

P.S.  Bflo girls - I'd love to do at least one more GTG before this LO arrives.  Maybe we can set something up for the 1st or 2nd week of January?

I was honestly starting to worry about you a little bit because you hadn't even checked in in awhile!!

I am so glad you are off work now. And to me, you have never looked huge or overly big for how far along you were.. People are just ridiculous!

We should definiltey plan a Jan GTG.. if you guys still wanted to do the holiday party on the 8th, just let me know so i can ask off of work..
