How big is / was your 2 month old ?

My pedi made it seem like he was HUGE at 12.7 pounds ? Isnt that right in the middle of 0-3 month clothing ? Shouldnt that mean he is right on track ? I know im not over feeding him lol ...oh and 2 month shots SUCK .

dd was 16 lbs and ds's were 16.10 theres one girl on hiere whose ds is 18 some lbs hes a chunker.  I think 12 lbs is a good size 2month old!

14.5 lbs.  Healthy, happy & not overfed.  Sometimes kids are just big for their age.

Joy was 12lbs 11oz at 2 months and the Physicians Assistant (I've never met the actual pedi) told me I should cut down on the number of feedings she gets because she was in a high percentile on the weight chart, which can lead to obesity later in life.

  WTFever....as long as baby seems happy and acts healthy, I'm not going to change my ways.

Ya like WTF doctor . He isnt FAT and ill worry about obseity later on down the road when he is like 16 pounds lol .I refuse to cut down on feedings to please my doctor when my little one doesnt even eat that much !

DD is tall but skinny (not unhealthy skinny, let me clarify.haha) She was 23inches tall and weighed 11lbs 6oz at her 2 month check up. Her doctor said she is as tall as a 3 1/2 - 4 month old. Shes tall like us, I am 5'9 and DH is 6'5.

Kate is a peanut and was only 9lbs 13oz at 2 months. She is barely 12 pounds now at 4 months.

DD was 9lb 3oz and 22.25 inches last week at her 2 month appointment.  She's on the low end for weight (25 percentile) but the high end for length (above the 75 percentile) but I don't expect that to last long (I'm only 4'10" and no women in my family have been over 5'1" for several generations).

DD was 12 lb 4 oz at 2 months 10 days.  The doctor said her weight was 80th percentile.

Yesterday Tyler was 13.5. Which is the 90th %. The Dr. acted like it was no biggie.

At 2 mo our kids are not fat! :-)

My DS was 12 lbs 13 oz at 2 months. My pedi said that was fine. Many pedis don't start worrying about diets/obesity until a child is much older--usually at least 2 years old.

Just went to the Dr today (and shots DO suck!!!). She weighed 10 lbs 2 oz and was 22 1/2 in long.

DS was that at five weeks! It is 90th percentile of weight for the age, and no one (doctor, nurses) have said anything negative about it.

She was 10lb 8oz (43%) and 22.24" (47%) at 2 months. It was a big percentile jump for us since she had problems gaining at first. She getting little chub rolls now so I'm hoping for another increase at her 4 month a ppt. I love me a chubby baby!

DD is 12 lbs and 2 and a half months old. She's a little chubby and I like it that way so she is nice and healthy - too chubby isn't healthy in my opinion but a little is good for a baby.
