AW: BW at grocery store

I took my first long trip to the grocery store myself to buy supplies for Christmas. I decided to wear DS in a borrowed Bjorn I have (I'm getting an Ergo for Christmas and plan to use that in the future). DS did great and fell asleep soon after I starting shopping. I was just so proud since this was my first solo trip where I HAD to get things done.

I got a lot of stares. But one lady looked at me and smiled and said "That's the perfect place for baby." It made me feel so good!

    It is the perfect place for the baby! :) I am telling you, BW is the only way I get grocery shopping done (or anything kind of errand). Great job mama!

    I always wear DD grocery shopping it is the only way she is happy.  She loves to just take it all in.  My mum loved it today because she would stand at the end of the aisle while I would go grab stuff so we didn't get traped in the aisle waiting for people to move.

    I wore DD in Giant when she was about 6 weeks old.  I got a lot of stares too...and one lady said that she looked  uncomfortable.  I wasn't quite sure how a sleeping baby can look uncomfortable...but whatever.  I LOVE BWing for grocery  trips.  It's so much easier than trying to balance the infant seat on or in the cart.  And I totally think it is safer too.
