EBFs do you have this issue with DHs?

Anytime dh is holding D, and he starts to slightly fuss, he hands him back to me and says :I think he wants to eat."  Really?  Cause I JUST fed him.  I normally dont get annoyed but when Im trying to eat my red hot popcorn......

you're not alone. i dont EBF, however, when DH is supposed to do a BM bottle to give me a break, he will get through half of it, get bored, and offer for me to finish feeding DS. It's like, WTF!!

Ha! that made me LOL. My H is pretty good about giving Piper a BM bottle, he even request that we give her a bottle instead of a boobie sometimes just so he can feed her. I think a lot of it has to do with his upcoming deployment. It's nice to get a break sometimes.

Yes, all the time... DS just found his hands and is now always chewing/sucking them, so DH thinks he's always hungry

All the time. It really makes me mad. I told him he needs to figure out how to comfort him. He doesn't need to nurse every time he wimpers.

This is my DH too. I know I've been VERY lucky that he's being as involved as he is and I know it's because he's trying to do as much bonding as he can before his upcoming deployment. More than once over the past few days he's kind of come to my rescue when I'm having trouble or told me to go back to sleep while he's taken care of her. I think he's really happy that I've been pumping so much and managed to get ahead of her so now he's able to give her a bottle plus change diapers and dance with her.

In his defense, however, DS does sometimes eat every 30 minutes, so you never know!

ALL THE TIME! anytime DD cries DH assumes she's hungry. wtf? I'm scared to go back to work cause DH is gonna kill my freezer stash if he tries to feed her everytime she cries...

My DH is the opposite... we will be getting close to the 3 or 4 hour mark, when she does want to eat again.  She will start fussing and DH will grab her and take her up to her nursery to try and calm her down.  He plays music, dances with her, bounces her, gives her a paci... I give him about ten minutes of trying before I intervene, "ummm, she's probably hungry?"
