Sick Toddler :(

My LO has had a fever most of the day today. We've been alternating tylenol and motrin which brings it down for the most part. Last time I checked it was 100.3 and we're between the times for meds now. She's not wanting to play as much but she will get down and play for a few minutes and then she'll climb back up on my lap and play with something with me. She has a little bit of a cough, a very runny nose which is just clear. I've noticed her respiratory rate is up a little bit maybe 40-44 at the most but I believe this is normal with a fever. I'm a huge worrier. Anything else I could be doing for her? I'm sure the pedi is closed tomorrow. Anyone have any experience with these symptoms?

My DD just got over something just like this.  She had a fever for about 48hrs, a cough and runny nose.  I talked to her pedi and she said to stay up with the tylenol / motrin every 4 hours and if she has a temp for more then 3 days to bring her in.  Her max temp was 103.1, and during the day on the meds it would get down to 99ish.... the highest would be in the morning and at night.

I would just keep an eye on your LO and give lots of kisses!  Good Luck!!!
