How do you date your bottles for daycare?

I usually just write the date on a piece of scotch tape (that is folded on itself on one end so it's easily removed). I was wondering if there are permanent or semi-permanent labels that I can use with his name already on them and then just write the date on those labels every day. Does that make sense?

I have his name on Mabel's Labels.  Then for the date I just write it with a sharpie on blue painters tape.  It comes off really easy.  Are you looking for a label that the date would wipe off at the end of the day?  I'm not sure I've seen anything like that.

why do you have to date the bottles?  For BF?

FF is only good for 24 hours so I just bring the bottles for use for the day.

mrsmikey...that's exactly what I'm looking for. I just found some vinyl stickers at the container store that can go through the dishwasher and microwavel. The labels are erasable. 

We have to date all food products. It's state law.

Where DD goes, they provide labels. You write their names, date and contents on the label and throw them out when the day if over. If you have breast milk, they give you bright red labels.

I'll have to check those out!  It's state law here too that bottles have to be dated, BM or FF.  But we don't have to date food.

We bought bumpy name labels from Inchbug.  FOr some reason, the ladies didn't realize his name was printed on them(they said they have never seen them before)...so they wrote his initials with a Sharpie on it.  Luckily, because it is rubber, it came right off!  I suppose you can use them for dating in your case...

I just use a little piece of masking tape.  It is easy to come off too.

We use the Drop-ins and I freeze my BM in them and just take permenent marker to put the date on the bottom and how many oz. is in the liner.
