Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

1st tri-like question.

My son has a homemade (no syrup or butter) waffle every morning. Sometimes it's paired with eggs, raspberries, blueberries, etc. but for the most part, he always has a waffle. The waffles I make have yeast in them. Is is possible for a toddler to have too much yeast? Sounds silly but maybe you guys know something I don't.

I did make a different recipe (non yeast) this morning and he pushed them away!

Re: 1st tri-like question.

  • I don't think so. Doesn't he have bread?

  • I was hoping the question was: "What kindof BC do you use while you're PG, so you don't get double PG?"

That is the only reason I opened this post.

I have no answer for you.

Not that I've ever heard- DD is big on the carbs and tiny in general.  I wouldn't worry about the ridiculous hype surrounding carbs/gluten/yeast unless you have a medical reason to be concerned.

And to Christina- my MIL is a phone triage nurse. A call she received a few years ago from a youngish-woman asked how on earth she was supposed to keep her birth control pack for a month when after she took one, and her boyfriend took one, they were gone in 2 weeks.

  • No help, but I make Ryan homemade (not Bisquick) pancakes almost every day! He loves them! (But to be honest he likes them just as well at my mom's house and she uses Bisquick) I don't worry about him eating pancakes too often. He's kind of picky. I'm just glad he'll eat them!
