Does/did anyone use their PnP as a ball pit?

How did it work out? Were they happily occupied or were they not fooled as to the purpose of it?

    We did, until we had to start using the PnP as "time-out" (he won't sit still in a chair). He loved it, and it didn't bother him a bit that he couldn't get out. He happily played in the balls, or tossed them out all over the living room. Most of the time he was happy to play until we took him out. We were usually in the room with him, but it worked well when we did need to go in another room without him.

    Wow, I can't believe I never throught of that!  I just saw ball at Target for pretty cheap too.

    I was planning on using our inflatable pool from this summer. I am going to get balls in a few weeks.
