I am just waiting to get sick

G had the stomach flu almost 48 hours ago.  This thing is nasty/evil and has already affected 7 of my family members in the past 4 days.  We think we figured out how this virus works, that within 48 hours of being exposed to it it hits you.

So as each hour passes by I begin to dread that 48th hour more and more.  At this point I am not sure if I am making up symptoms in my head or if my stomach really is starting to get queasy.  I really do not want to spend my Christmas eve and Christmas day in the bathroom.

I was just at work picking up my check and I was happily chatting with my boss who mentioned that her daughter and DH have the stomach flu.

I slowly backed away ...

Last thing I want is all of us puking on Christmas.  My fingers are crossed that you stay healthy!

Jayden had the stomach flu not too long ago, as I was trying to fall asleep I was thinking I was sick for sure so I started making up the symptoms. But i didn't get sick. There is hope!

I have heard it can hit as quick as 12 hours, and I know 24-36 hours happens. So girl, you just may be in the clear!!

My friends daughter had it awful, no one else got it in the family.

Dose up on some Vit. C and Lysol everything.

Ugh that sucks. Try to disinfect as much as possible and hopefully it'll pass you by!

I cleaned all the door knobs, light switches and our cells.  I also washed all our towels and sheets.  The only person I know who hasn't caught it on my side is my dad.  Hopefully DH and I are just as lucky as him.

It hit my DH late Tuesday night. It was awful. I'm in the waiting mode also. Hopefully, LO and I are in the clear. A stomach bug is not what we want for Christmas!

Oh man!  I hope everyone feels better soon.  You may escape it... I never got it when everyone else did.  But like you, I kept thinking I was experiencing symptoms.
