AW: first DH (thnx ncbelle!) - kwinters, PIP

(Kwinters... I thought this picture actually caught the colors pretty well...)

So, as soon as I got home I had to try out my new Deli LE with my actual babe (and not a stuffed pelican... see Fluffy Mail post below). I had ncbelle's double hammock (w/ chest belt) video up all day at work and just kept watching it over and over, so I gave it a try. I'd like her to be a little higher next time, but I thought it turned out pretty well! 

Its not the best picture, but what a comfortable carry!! And wrapping in general was so much easier with this wrap (thanks to whoever suggested I only needed the 4.2m) vs. my 5.6m!!!! 

I'm in love all ready. Even with a wiggly, just wanting to eat dinner already babe, I was able to get her up there super fast. And once I got her there, she relaxed and lay her head on my shoulder, so I know she was comfy too.

Looks great!  I'm glad you had an easy time wrapping with it.  Was it already pretty broken in?  I tried that wrap out once and I had a reaallllly hard time wrapping with it.  But I love the colors!!

It's actually brand new! I think I found it easier because I was working with such a ridiculously long wrap before... plus this one is a little thinner then my BBSlen. I'm braiding every time I'm done using it though, and wore the pelican for a little today , then squished it for the ride home. It already seems pretty soft to me, but I'll have it decadent in no time!

I'm a blue-lover, so I think this wrap is stunning! Good choice! Your wrap job looks nice and tight too. I love the DH, but I'm no expert at it, and getting it tight on the chest is the hardest thing for me!

Have you watched ncbelle's vid on it (here)? Because watching her do it really really helped (especially to get the chest belt tight).

I have! Mostly I'm just so new to DH that by the time I get that second hammock across her back (why it's so hard for me, I don't know!), she's getting fussy and my arms are tired, so I halfass it. Someday...

Oooh you did get a good pic of it!  It represents the colors perfectly!!!

And the DH looks good for a first one, much better than mine did, lol!
