My 8 week old son doesn't want anything to do with his crib. He slept OK in the bassinet, but has outgrown it. He sleeps like a dream in his bouncer, but I don't want him sleeping in it while I too am asleep, and he sleeps great when being held or laying on my lap. I put him in his crib, and he starts screaming within 15 minutes, sometimes less.
Since he's outgrown the bassinet, we've got him in the pack and play in our room, and he will sleep about 2 hours in it before waking up crying.
Anyone else having this problem, and does anyone know how to get their child to sleep in the crib? I really don't want to have to put him in it, close the door and let him "cry it out"...
Re: Crib Fear
Give it time, and just keep trying every few days. Eventually he'll just be ready for it.
