Yup. I had a lap in January to be diagnosed officially with it and my doctor burned off what she could see, then i got pregnant in February, lost the baby in August, and got pregnant again in September. I haven't had any endo pain since the lap in January. So maybe the pregnancies have helped or maybe it was the treatment she did during the surgery, no way to really no for sure. But it's so nice after years of suffering with it to finally be pain free.

thanks! you got pregnant really fast! do you know what stage you were? it took us two years after my lap to get here! i am so scared of something going wrong! did your dr say that you would have to have a C-section because of the Lap or the endo?
we got married at the end of may and pregnant in july. i was amazed b/c we thought there was such a small chance we could get pregnant, especially since i haven't had it burned off. but so far my pregnancy's been very normal.
I've had endo/ovarian cysts for about 14 years now About six years ago I had lapro because one of the cysts looked like it had a cancerous growth - when I went under I didn't know how I'd wake up. They told me they might have to do a full hysterectomy while they were in there. So scary, but it turned out benign, I was sewed up, and nine months later the endo was back in full force. Over the last two years it had gone from pain once/month to daily. They told me I'd probably need assistance in getting pregnant, but it happened on its own in time According to my doctors they said that once you are pregnant you have all the same chances of having a miscarriage or live birth as anyone else. So here I am at 17 weeks! It's nice not being in pain every day, but as you know pregnancy has its own woes - and I'm not skipping around thinking I'm cured yet. It might come back after the baby is born, and I'll deal with it as I always have (did you know that even after a hysterectomy you can have endo? crazy thing I learned recently). My doctor hasn't said that I'd need a c-section because of any of these things, but we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised! Oh, and I forget what stage I have. Not extremely bad, but enough to be in pain every.single.day. Ugh.

If you can do a vaginal after a c-section then two little cuts shouldn't cause a problem. I have never had my OB say anything in regards to that subject to me.
Also, PG usually relieves the symptoms of endo which is awesome since I was to the point of requesting another lap to help remove the pain. I have also never had my OB mention anything to me about complications and my endometriosis and there are none that I know of.
Definitely talk to your OB about any concerns you have though but, for the time being, enjoy being pain free!
I had a lap in 2004 and was diagnosed with low ovarian reserve on 2007. I was given a 3 year window (at 27 years old!) and told I had a 40% chance of conceiving. My husband (FI at the time) decided we had to start right away. It took 3.5 months to get pregnant. I had a normal pregnancy, though had cramping everyday, and delivered on time and vaginally. My endo symptoms came back in full swing about 4 months after giving birth.
hey! thank you all for your input! its really interesting to hear all your stories! i was diagnosed about three years ago and had the lap, the dr doesn't foresee any complications, thankfully! i am stage 3 and i also have ovarian cysts. she told us our chances of conceiving naturally were very very low and that we could keep trying but that chances were we would need lots of help. we had been trying for basically the full three years when i said okay enough is enough i can't take the disappointment every month i just need a break, almost went back on the pill to help the pain (which had gone from a few days a month to every day!) but before i went back to the dr we went camping for our anniversary. we had both tried to put it out of our minds (which i sort of had...) and then my period never came!! i was sure i was just late because i wasn't regular but then all the other symptoms popped up!! we took 5 HPT before we called to make a Dr's appointment and when i finally saw her she didn't believe it! she did an early ultrasound just to check, even tho the blood and urine came back pos. Still when i see her she is in disbelief!!!
are any of you terrified that something will go wrong and that this is your one chance, or is it just me?
