are you more serious/reserved/all business? DH and I can both be very serious, but we both have senses of humor like 12 year old boys. I guess that is why we get along. I relish the nonsense though. After a day of thinking... it is refreshing to be able to be silly. ![]()
Yesterday I asked DH to get me a Bandaid. So he left the room and came back moments later holding our dog, Bandit. I looked at him, and he was cracking up and he goes "Oh, you mumbled, I thought you said Bandit, not Bandaid".
We got a new dishwasher a few weeks ago and my sister asked if we were disposing of the old one. I said "shhhh!!!". She asked me why I was shushing her. I told her it was because we told the fridge that the dishwasher was being sent away to a farm and I didn't want to upset it.
Re: Do you and SO speak nonsense to one another, or
Nah, we don't always talk seriously, we're both dorks and we love it. I think that's what makes me love DH so much, he knows just how to make me laugh or cheer me up when I've got a a problem.
Yesterday he got me this new laptop pillow for Christmas. As I think I'm done with checking it out, he goes, "Why don't you try your laptop on it?" And I'm thinking, 'Why? It's not like I won't know a laptop can't sit on it'... I place the laptop on the pillow and open it to start typing. There laid a giftcard to one of my fav places to shop. Silly DH.
DH and I are serious when we need to be, but most of the time, we're a couple of 12 year olds. It's more fun that way:)
The comment about the dishwasher is something my DH would say.
LMAO!!!
we are super stupid to each other! I love that I can be a dumbass with him! I crack myself up on a daily basis & it keeps him entertained as well!!
when he's in a bad mood or biitch I will depants him over & over until he finally lightens up! I could easily depants him 10 times throughout the day/night when he's least expecting it.
