Pain in the neck...literally

I feel like people complain of lower back pain during pregnancy. I am 21 weeks and all my back pain has been in my neck and mid-upper back. Anyone else??

Re: Pain in the neck...literally

  • I have been having pain in my neck too! I'm always trying to get comfortable in bed but it's hard because my neck just hurts. Also my jaw hurts and feels like it won't relax so that's irritating as well. With my DD I slept perfectly fine, but this pregnancy I am having a heck of a time getting comfortable. Lame.

  • I've had a bit of neck and upper back pain. I've been to the chiro twice since I was pregnant; he sorted it right out. I'm not one to suffer longer than I must.
  • Huh....I've had a stiff neck for the last 2 weeks.  I didn't even think it could be pregnancy related.  I even went to see a chiropractor for the first time.  She said it was all related to tight muscles.  It was nice getting the adjustment though, my neck felt a little better afterwards.

  • I've had distractingly bad pain right where my left shoulder meets my neck (in the back) for the first 2-3 hours of every day for the last few weeks. I'm assuming it's related to changes in my sleeping position.
