bedsharing w/a crawler

i'm starting to get nervous, as ds is getting close to crawling. he already rolls every which way in the bed and i'm afraid he'll try to crawl off (our bed is high, too). what do you do? i would hate to have to stop b/c of this.

please advise. thanks.

FWIW, DS never crawled off our bed. I wake up whenever he does.

We used bedrails till she was pulling herself up on them. Our mattress is now on the floor.

i wake up when he moves around. he has never even tried to crawl off without me there to help.
