I've been meaning to ask about her. There's quite a few ppl that seem to have dropped off the radar over the last few months. I know a lot of ppl started posting more on Natural Birth & the VBAC board too.

I'm kinda against creating more ap/natural parenting/etc boards. Too many boards waters down traffic on all of them, kwim? Like how some of our regulars fled to the Natural Birth board or whatever. I think we could use less BWing posts. Well, maybe not less BWing posts, just more variety in topics. I love to chat about wraps & carriers just as much as anyone, but I feel like this board is becoming TBW lite.

I would only say if a new board was created maybe it should be a BW board but yeah I can always go over to TBW (it is still very intimadating for me though).  I like that we have all the different age ranges here I see stuff I mentally file away for when DD is older!

I like that we have a mix of different ages too - the more experienced moms can help out the newer moms, the newer moms can give us toddler moms baby fever...

yeah I quite enjoy it when a new Mum with a new baby turns up here. It's like, "wow I remember how that felt..."

I occasionally see her posting on a private photography forum we're both members of- I think she's started working part time again, and just doesn't have a lot of bumping time. I don't see her on other boards she used to frequent like BOTB or the age boards either. D's cute as ever though.

Hey chicas!  I am here lurking occasionally, but my photography business has gone insane-o in the past few months and I barely have time to breathe!  I was hoping it would slow down for the holidays, but nope...I've got a newborn shoot on Christmas Eve and then another one two days after Christmas.  And several more before January even gets started.  I've started doing a lot of newborns, and we all know how those newborns are...they just insist on showing up whenever they darn well please, holidays or not

I promise I will be back soon, but I will leave you with a new D sig-pic, even if it is two months old now!!  She's constantly running nowadays which makes getting a good shot of her next to impossible, but we're going to try over Christmas (armed with bubbles...her favorite) and see what we can get.  Miss you all!

I actually do agree with everything here.  I am not a big fan of spin-off boards or splitting boards like they did with the ages.  I just feel like we have kind of turned into a mini TBW and are losing a lot of other general parenting stuff so I was wondering if needed a better definition of the board.  I guess the best way of doing that be to have a BWing board (which might be nice since lots of mamas BW who aren't AP) and reserve AP for more parenting/sleeping/otherwise baby stuff.  It is sad to see us being so slow around here when we aren't mainstream in my area so it is great to have support.
