I use Yahoo Calendar to track appts. and I noticed yesterday that I have on there "Dr. Lee" and it hit me. That was to be my initial OB meeting and hopefully getting an 8/9 wk u/s. Feel kind of numb about it but kinda fear that maybe they didn't cancel the appt. when I was there for my post m/c follow up. Wonder if I should call or just wait and see.

Poor DH asked last night, "do we still have that meeting tomorrow"? My heart broke and said "no. I hope they canceled".

  I'm sorry.  I think they probably cancelled your appointment so I wouldn't worry about calling if I were you.  And if they didn't cancel it I'm sure they'll check out your chart when you don't show up so they'll have an explanation.  Try to enjoy your day as much as possible..I know it's hard.  ((hugs))

I'm so sorry.  I was supposed to have an OB appointment today too but it was instead replaced by a post D&C follow up   When I actually called to make the appointment after the d&c the receptionist was like - well you know you have an appt scheduled already, right?  I was like woman!  That's an OB appointment - I had a m/c.  She didn't really apologize.  Argh.  My doc's front office isn't run very well so hopefully your doctor's office figures it out.  

 Try and enjoy the day.  Go do something fun to get your mind off of things.

Thank you so much ladies. So silly that an appt. can bring up such random thoughts. Usually you look at appts. and go "ugh, I don't want to go" but this is one I wish I could have gone to.

I'm sorry about your experience with your lame-o office Arlee. They really should have separate rooms and nurses in OBs offices to handle things. 

Speaking of adding fuel to the fire, I just got an email alert from my insurance company saying my personal health record has been updated. I logged in and BAM! One of my conditions is "miscarriage with complications". 

Well. You don't say.

Days like that are hard.  I never got to even schedule my first appt due to the timing of some things going on in our lives when we got the BFP and the m/c happening so quick.  We're coming up on when we were going to tell people though, and that's another hard date.

Hopefully the doctors office has their act together and cancelled the appt.

This was especially hard on Sunday because we too were going to tell my DH's family at Christmas and that's when we celebrated with them. I sat on the couch, listening to slow Christmas music and looking at the tree and started to get really sad. But that stopped suddenly because my MIL called me over to play cards. The holiday season is especially hard this year. (

   I tried to stay super busy the day I would have gone for my first appointment. Ended the day with a great ladies night out comedy deal at my church which was fabulous and much needed.  Hugs, I hope you have a nice Christmas!

Ugh my OB office called to remind me of mine, I was there for a Methotrexate injection the day before and through sobs told the nurse to cancel my appt. She felt so bad that I had been called, the VM really knocked me on my ass!

Well, I'm hoping they did cancel it because I haven't heard anything and they usually call to remind the day before....I think. Maybe I'm mixing them up with my GP. Oh well. And I finally did it. Went to get my final (hopefully) hcg levels drawn. I hope they have results tomorrow. Last time it took them two days.

I had to call to cancel mine. I explained to the receptionist why I was calling (I had a m/c) and then she said "So when would you like to reschedule?" REALLY?!!! I just said, I don't need to reschedule, I had a m/c. She was like ok thanks bye. UGH!
