i just don't know if it's going to work out between us. and it makes me sad.

i have wanted a dolcino since i first discovered wovens. finally after 1 gira, 2 NBs, 2 didy's and a hopp, i have finally landed a dolcino in my stash.

and i just don't know if i love it.

you know, its like that "perfect on paper" guy you date. you'd really LIKE to like him. everything about him seems great. he is great. but there's just no chemistry, you know? that's kinda how i feel about this wrap. and even though i'm willing to see if we can work things out, there's a part of me who knows that i'm a sort of insta-chemistry person, and if there isn't any to begin with there probably never will be.

i'm kinda bummed about it.

Is it broken in yet?  I felt that way about Red Wool Vogels.....I wanted to love it soooo bad.  So I decided that I would only use that wrap for a week and if at the end of the week i still didn't like it, I'd sell it off.  Now I love it!!!  Maybe give it some time?

maybe. it's definitely soft and managable, but i don't know about the colors. i love red, orange and yellow but i just don't know if it works for lilly and i. maybe if i try other carries i'll like it better. but it's a medium so it's just a little too short for me to do FWCC. sigh.

Bummer, I was actually eyeing the DSF you snagged.  What about it don't you like?

I'm a stash churner, and I really feel like if you don't like the colors right away no sense in keeping.  If you don't like the wrapping qualities, it might be worth keeping it for a week or two.

Looking at the pic, I think a lighter color would be beautiful on you two.  I'm thinking Rosa, Agate (too hard to find though), Cherry Blossoms, or brown/pink butterflies.  Just my thoughts

I like the idea of thin wraps, but don't like the execution I think. It's really a great wrap, I just need something a wee bit thicker I think. It's also a little long - size 6. My base is normally a 5, but now that Ari is getting bigger I'm tying in the tails with certain wraps. Sz 6 is still too long though.  I think I may try to find a SBF in sz 6 instead.
