latex-like discharge???

this just happened to me over an hr ago. it looked like chewed up gum w. a tinge of pink and some darker spots. afterwards it was the usual translucent yellow gooey stuff. no pain. no blood. i freaked out of course and called my doc. she called back an hr later. she said it was most likely discharge. i said, but it's like gum?! told me to come into the office if it happened again though.

at was my first thought, although I didn't lose mine with ds (that I noticed) so I'm not really experienced with one at all.

You can lose it and regenerate it several times throughout pregnancy.

Sounds like a mucus plug. Mucus plugs can regenerate themselves though so try not to worry.

Had you done a lot of walking or exercising or anything like that before you noticed it?  Sometimes friction + discharge = gummy balls of discharge.  Particularly after having sex.

egf - no, i didn't. i was going home from work and felt diarrhea pains and had to go once i got home.
