Introducing Myself

Hello Ladies,

I'm new here.  My daughter, Caroline Elizabeth was born sleeping on October 20, 2010 due to an umbilical cord accident at 39 weeks and 2 days gestation.  She was completely healthy (6lbs9oz and 21 inches), and I was healthy too.  We found out that she no longer had a heartbeat, then they induced me.  I was 2 days from my scheduled induction.  Caroline is our first child.  We miss her terribly.  We very much want to have children, so we're starting the journey of TTC again.

I am so sorry for your loss of Caroline.  Welcome to the board, I hope you find lots of comfort here.  I lost my daughter, Keely at 40 weeks due to a cord accident as well.  Its beyond heartbreaking, but these ladies here are great.  ((HUGS))

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I lost my daughter Ella at 39 weeks on September 3rd.  Like your Caroline, my Ella was healthy as was I.  She was 6lbs 8ozs and 21 inches long.  Ella was also my 1st child.  The ladies here are super supportive.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. We lost our son Eliott at 37 weeks in August. Since then, I've found this board to be a great source of comfort. I hope it is for you also.
