Had follow up appt- anyone else in same boat?

  I had a natural mc that started over 2 weeks ago, the bleeding stopped entirely a week ago. Went in for my follow up on Friday and  the u/s showed that not everything (but most) had passed. The doctor suggested that I take the medication (name?). I told her I would like to wait a little longer to see if it comes out on its own. She said that is fine, and we would see where I am in two weeks. So far, no additional spotting or anything.  I guess Im being a chicken because Ive heard the medicine makes you so sick, cramping etc and I do not want to deal with that over the holidays. I also dont really want to do it in two weeks from now over new years, so im hoping that things get moving on their own soon. Sorry, I dont mean to be a whiner since I know a lot of you have taken the medicine and gone through a lot worse. I was just hoping this would be physically "easy" like it was for me last time.  Anyone else have a natural m/c and have things stop, and then start again?

Also, the doc said we should wait at least one cycle before ttc again. Still not sure if we will jump in on that anyway (I go back and forth every day). She said I now have a 60% chance of having a healthy pregancy again. Im going to have the recurrent loss panel of bloodwork done, but she told me I need to wait 6 weeks for my hormones to stabilize.

I don't really have any advice for you because I didn't go through the same thing. I bled for 4 weeks and then ended up having a D&C. But I wanted to let you know that I"m sorry for your loss and I hope things start back up on their own.

Thanks, Jenn. Sorry for your loss too. Having bleeding for four weeks would be rough as well. I guess there is no good way for this to happen .

Sorry for your loss.  I've been bleeding for 11 days and will be starting medication tomorrow.  He gave me 2 day's worth.  I am prepared for cramping and to not feel too great, but I want to get it over before Christmas.
