This thread is for any and all mamas on bedrest, in any form. We are stuck home or in the hospital, in a bed or on our couches, and could use the support of each other to make it through this time in order to get to a healthy baby! We all know how hard bedrest is and we wish everyone a healthy pregnancy!!!! Anyone is welcome to join, and anyone can start this daily thread. Just copy and paste this paragraph and info lines below if you get here and the thread has yet to start for that day! Feel free to give us updates about your condition below!

What are your Christmas plans?

We're going to be very busy for Christmas. We're hosting a dinner on Thursday with all of our close friends. Friday, we're spending Christmas Eve at my parent's house with my sister, brother, a couple cousins, and my parents! Saturday, we're spending Christmas morning at the in-laws and heading over to my aunt's in the evening for Christmas dinner. On Sunday, we're having a boxing day dinner at my other aunt's house. It's going to be VERY busy this Christmas!

What are your Christmas plans?

Going to be a scary busy day - afternoon turkey dinner at the in-laws and then christmas night at my sister's. Everyone knows I can't really do anything so I'll be on the couch most of the time. Still a bit worried about accidentally over doing it. I can't go into labour (again) until Dec 29 or I'll have to have the baby at a hospital I hate with doctors I don't know because my hospital doesn't have the means to care for a preemie under 35 weeks (and delivery is supposed to be a scheduled c-section-I was totally unprepared to go into preterm labour). Just trying to keep baby in until then at least

Name - Reagan Due Date - 03/10 Date Placed on Bedrest - Nov 24 Type - At home Why ? Previous pre-term labor. Had contractions alredy. 'Softening cervix'. What are your Christmas plans? Parents & sister are coming to visit me. Having another bad day - just found out I failed my 1 hour blood glucose test. Now I have to do the 3 hour one. Isn't it punishment enough being stuck home for possibly 15 weeks? Now you have to take away all my favorite foods too? It's not fair. I know that is a stupid thing to say because life is never fair, but come on.....this is so much b.s.

Luckily, I haven't had contractions in a week, so on Wed when I will be 28w, we will be doing another biophysical profile u/s and hopefully I will be released then. We were going to go to a hotel a couple of hrs away for Christmas for some fun in the pool, but that had to be canceled (and of course Expedia will not give me a refund or let me change dates, grrrrrr!). So everything has been moved to my sister's house where hopefully I will stay for the remainder of my bedrest. Home is too far from a NICU so I won't be able to go back to my DH & DD till 34w It's kinda depressing, but I am focusing on the fact that baby is still an inside baby and *hopefully* I will be out of the hospital before Christmas, which would be an awesome gift!

Question of the Day: What are your Christmas plans?

 We were supposed to go to my IL's this year which is a 4-hour drive out-of-state, but since I can't travel, they're bringing Christmas to us.  We'll have a quiet christmas eve, just me and DH at home, then my MIL and FIL arrive on Christmas Day and more extended family will come visit on Sunday.  We moved into a new house in June, so we're excited to get to spend our first Christmas in our new home.  MIL will take care of all the cooking and we'll get to just relax and enjoy the holidays.

I am on hospital bed rest so my husband and in-laws will be coming to me for Christmas. Not really sure what that will entail other than a visit like usual, but with some presents to open. My parents live many states away and are waiting to come when baby girl gets here. Christmas definitely took a back seat this year as we are all just focused on keeping this baby growing for as long as possible.
