Stupid doctor ugh! (vent)

So I havent seen my doctor since before Thanksgiving and I was supposed to go today at 2:15 but Im going to Sandusky today so I called to see if maybe they could see me earlier and when I call the receptionist tells me they must have overbooked him and theres 3 other ladies booked for that time too. She canceled my appt and said she'd call me back and its been an hour and a half and no call yet. I've been having the worst tailbone pain that I wanted to discuss with him and now I can't. Ugh!

Sorry you can't get in, but not seeing the doctor since before Thanksgiving doesn't seem like a huge deal. I mean, I'm still on monthly appointments as I think most 2nd tri-ers are. And you called this morning to reschedule, so you can't expect miracles.

Did you tell them you're experiencing pain? They might make you more of a priority if you do. Or, perhaps you could ask to see a Nurse Practitioner for your pain and reschedule your regular appointment ASAP. You also have to consider it is a holiday week and doctors have lives too.

Well they usually have me come in every 2 weeks instead of 4 weeks because of my blood pressure and age. I didnt mention the pain but I can hold out another few weeks.

 My OB has me go to my family doctor for things that are not directly affecting the baby. I had a rash on my arms, legs, face and stomach and she said that I would have to see my family doctor. There are way to many women that are seeing the Ob for regular appointments. Why not just make an appointment with your family doctor? I would think that tailbone pain could be assessed by anyone.
