When do you start giving cheerios or puffs, yogurt drops, etc?
My doc said no dairy- does that mean no milk or no dairy period? (I should add that we are doing an elimination diet for me- after the holdiays- for eczema issues)
Guess I'm looking for a bit of direction- I seriously can NOT remember introducing solids to T, other than he hated oatmeal and rice cereals.
Re: Feeding a 7ish month old- some questions?
I don't think we did cheerios or puffs, etc until his eating was pretty well established. We just started the BLW pretty much around 7 months so I would guess it wasn't until about 9-10 months for those types of things.
I would assume if he said no dairy, he meant all dairy but you could always clarify with him. That would be a question I would email our pedi if you have that option.

C had cheerios around then - she wasn't very good at picking them up (I let her practice though) so periodically I would hold one up and she would take it from me baby bird style with her mouth. She's never had puffs or yogurt drops.
Freeze dried mango from Trader Joes was another of the first things she fed her selft - it's spear shaped, crunchy to start but sort of dissolves as you suck on it.
Spears of roasted sweet potato was another first food that went well.
For the no dairy - if they think you are allergic they may want you to wait on all dairy, but my pedi didn't say that to me - she had cheese and yogurt before one year.
We did baby led weaning (or a version of it) so I'd let her try whatever appropriate foods we were having.
