NBR: Girls who have an iPad--come on in!

We are considering getting an iPad and I wanted some feedback from girls who currently have one.  Do you love it, hate it?  Do you use it on forums like this and facebook alot?  Do you use it in place of your regular computer/laptop?  We already have iPhones and all mac computers, so there wouldn't be much of a learning curve for us with the iPad, I just want to make sure I will get some use out of it if we spend the money.

 So, tell me your thoughts--what you like best about it, anything you don't like?  Do you have the 3G version or Wi-Fi only?  Which would you recommend?

    I have an iPad and I absolutely love it!!  I use it for everything.

    I love mine. We have the wifi only and it works out great, I guess if you travel a Lot and really depend on internet acces I would get 3G but you also have to pay a monthly fee which isn't worth it to me. I use it online but a,so to read digital books a lot. I love that I can use amazon, barnes and noble, or borders sites.

    I love mine, I'm on hospital bed rest at the moment and it's a lifesaver! It's much easier to use while reclining than my MacBook. I have a case/stand that I would recommend especially if you plan on streaming netflix to it. Hth

    I love mine and I use it all the time. I no longer use my laptop, however you cannot access sites that require flash.

    I have an Ipad - wifi only and love it.  Use it for web surfing, netflix streaming, etc. 

     FYI - if I were you, I wouldn't buy one now.  They are planning to come out with a new one in the next couple of months.

    It's basically a large Ipod touch.  Our is only wifi.

    I love it because I downloaded the free Kindle and NookBook apps and use it for reading online books.

    I recently used it when I flew with my 3 year old and it was nice because she likes to play games on it and she was able to watch movies on it.  I did not have a case that props it up so we proped it up with a pillow, but I'm going to get a case for the ride back. But much nicer to carry that around than a laptop or heavier portable dvd player.

    And this is probably TMI, but it's a good use for bathroom material!  Instead of a magazine or book you can facebook or play solitare!  Lol.  =)
