Mucus plug loss?? How do you know for sure?

I went to the bathroom this morning, and when I wiped it looked like I had blown my nose into the toilet paper (even though I didn't, lol).  Is that part of the MP?  I'm so confused about what to look for or what it even is.  Can someone clarify for me?

I have had that, too!  Apparently it can be snot-looking [gross, I know.], tinged with brown, pink, or red, and is globby.  Ewwwww

I never lost mine with #1... but from what I hear its basically like snot that can be a couple different colors.

Yeah, I've had the same thing.  It's happened several times in the last two days, and I've just assumed it's my mucous plug coming out.

I had what looked like lots of EWCM in the days leading up to my water breaking, and a whole bunch that morning.

I passed an intact plug last week, it was intact, perfectly round with indentations of my cervix...lovely!

Yes, that was probably part of your MP. You can lose it slowly in pieces, or you can lose it all at once.

I'd say that's part of your MP.  I've been losing mine in pieces...the first time I saw it I wanted to vomit.

I saw mine in the toilet and knew exactly what it was, but I was kind of in denial since I was only 22w 6d.
