When did you get it placed in?

How long have you been spotting/bleeding?

I got my IUD a little over a week ago and spotted for the first couple of days and I thought I was done spotting, then I started bleeding like a full blown period.

I really hope that I won't be spotting/bleeding all the time for the next five years with this thing!

I had the same thing happen, but it was time for my period so I think that it is probably not spotting. Maybe this is the case for you too? It sometimes takes around 6 months to regulate according to the doc so hopefully you won't bleed for 5 years

I was going to suggest it's your period too.  I got my first AF at 7 weeks PP this time.

yeah the ob said I won't have a period for a while because I am bf, but I also think this might be my period. I just read reviews about paraguard that some women always spot/bleed with it.

I got the paragard placed on November 16th, at my 6 week pp visit. I spotted for like 3 days and then it was over. I have had cramping every now and then since then (which is normal for the paragard) but nothing awful. No menstrual cycle yet at 10 1/2 weeks pp.
