Ooh fun!
1) Our dorms were next door to each other in college and we had mutual friends.
2) On our second anniversary he took me for a walk around the lake where we had our first kiss, stopped in the same spot and got down on one knee.
3) Probably our friends' drunken debauchery afterwards, lol. Or the fact that we had to evacuate our honeymoon suite due to giant scary bugs. Not very sentimental memories, but uniquely ours.
4) I called him at work, but he was in surgery. I had a hard time waiting until he was out...and not telling my mom in the meantime! When I finally got in touch with him I said I needed to cancel our appointment with the fertility specialist because we didn't need him anymore!
5) His sense of humor...he can be very clever or very juvenile, but he always makes me laugh.
1. A mutual friend introduced us
2. We were on the balcony of a cruise ship in Alaska, it was so sweet :-)
3. It was the most fun I've ever had, and the dance floor was PACKED. Awesome party, if I do say so myself
4. It was like 1:30 am and he had just gotten home from work; I was asleep. I heard him come in and I said, "hey babe, guess what? I'm pregnant." Then rolled over and went back to sleep.
5. He's SUCH an amazing dad and caring. C is asleep on his chest right now.
1) How did you and your hubs meet? We were on the same soccer team when we were 6.
2) How did he propose? on a hike
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day? the rain! We had two hurricanes.
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out? 1st time, I don't remember. This time, I put Kate in a big sister shirt and sent her downstairs.

A Bible study that my roommate was leading with her boyfriend. So glad I have that to tell my grandparents instead of meeting him at a bar.
2) How did he propose?
We were supposed to go mountain biking with friends, but he showed up at my apt ridiculously early. He told me we weren't going biking and that I needed to dress for hiking and bring a nice dress. Then he drove us up to Breckenridge and we rode the ski lift up to Peak 9 (this was in the summer). He proposed on top of the mountain. Then we went to Keystone for dinner at a nice restaurant halfway up the mountain. It was dreamy!
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day?
How excited I was about everything, including the fact that I wasn't hungover and didn't have a pimple.
I didn't even cry during our vows (and I always cry at other people's weddings). I was just too excited!
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out?
I bought him a kid's lacrosse set (he loves lacrosse, both playing and coaching) and put it on the table, along with a gift bag that had the positive pregnancy test.
5) Name one of his best qualities.
Patience! Also one of my worst.
1. We went to high school together, and we've been together since I was 16. He was a senior and I was a sophomore, but we had lunch together.
2. He proposed in our basement after he made me our favorite dinner. He even had the cheesy mu-zaac going in the background.
3. We got married in a courthouse, lol. I worked the night before, came home and changed and got married.
4. I left the pee stick on the sink for him to see, he was in bed. I told him to get up and look.
5. He's the MOST patient guy I know, and loves me even with all of my faults. I trust him with my life. He's also a super daddy, and makes DS smile so big when he comes home.

1) How did you and your hubs meet? On a mountain top, on Canada Day. We were working in Banff in a restaurant on top of a mountain. We had heard about each other through friends but had never really met before then. We may have met in passing a year before, but it wasn't a memorable moment for either of us.
2) How did he propose? In our living room one evening...he had planned on a romantic dinner at home earlier that night, but my parents dropped in and crashed/ invited themselves to our dinner and totally foiled his plans...
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day? the skinny dipping! after all the festivities were over about 20 of us headed for the river for a quick plunge, it was pitch black out and we were all stumbling through the forest with only 1 flashlight. (my granny found the swimming spot earlier in the day and had a dip too BTW) How many people can say they've been to a wedding where there was skinny dipping?
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out? 1 I POAS in the morning and took it back to bed to show him. #2 I couldn't wait for him to get home from work so I POAS and left it on the counter to see as soon as he got home.
5) Name one of his best qualities.I'm relatively new here, and only post occasionally - but I figured I would share anyway
1. We met back when I was in 9th grade, he was in 10th. We went to different schools and went out as a group one night skating with mutual friends. We didn't talk too much that night, but the next night was my birthday and I rented a limo to just drive around the town - so I invited him (and our other friends), and that's where our first kiss was :$
2. Haha he proposed in the mall. Not the most romantic tale. My custom ring apparently took a long time to be made and ordered and what not, and he was GOING to ask me that night at dinner, but said he couldn't wait and was too excited - so he just did it right there in the middle of the mall.
3. I remember just smiling at each other the whole time. We had a bunch of laugh attacks and giggled our way through our vows. It was hilarious.
4. We both just got the feeling one day that I was pregnant, so the next day while he was at work I took a test. When he got home we were lying in bed and I just said "I'm pregnant" and he said "cool".
5. His humor. I would not be with him if he wasn't falling-down-laughing hilarious. He can always make me smile in even the worst of situations.

1) How did you and your hubs meet?
We met in AF Tech School while we were learning how to fix F-16s.
2) How did he propose?
He got orders to come to Italy and didn't want to come without me. I was like "have a good time" and he was like "marry me!" lol
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day?
Going to eat at IHOP afterwards.
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out?
He was at work and I called him freaking out. I couldn't believe the test was positive because we were on our last round of clomid and the doctor had already told me I didn't ovulate that cycle. Obviously they were wrong!
5) Name one of his best qualities.
He's a very take it easy kind of guy which is great because I have a tendency to stress out and he always calms me down.

2) How did he propose? he proposed on valentines day 3 years after we started dating. We had gone out to dinner already and were going back to his house for the evening. When we pulled into the garage, he said to stay in the truck while he went into the house first, because there was something he needed to "clean up" first, he'd made a mess earlier and didn't have time to clean it up, or something like that. I thought that was odd, but I did as he said and waited. (he was inside the house lighting a buzzilion tea light candles that he had already put around the loft/balcony) when went in, he had music playing and there were rose petals all the way through the house to the left upstairs with candles and then he was standing up in the loft with a rose for me. We danced for a long time and I knew what he was going to do but he kept stalling (he was really nervous) finally he asked me and of course I said yes!
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day? the song we had played "I can only imagine" by Mercy Me and standing there looking into my husbands eyes, I couldn't help crying, it was just the most special thing.
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out? I took the test with him right there. We had purposely "tried" and even though I hadn't missed my period yet, we decided to take a test 13 days after we tried (since 13 is his lucky number) I already felt like I was pregnant. We stared at the test together, waiting for it to turn, we were both so happy and he kissed and hugged me.
5) Name one of his best qualities. :)that he is ALWAYS there for me and is very loyal.That is too sweet Fred!
1) How did you and your hubs meet?
One of my best friends boyfriends was moving.We were having a go away party. I went with them day off to set up and we stopped by my DH's job (before he was my DH LOL) to invite him. I saw him ad could not stop blushing, he was so hot...LOL. That night at the party he kept looking at me and me him. We were blushing and trying not to let the other one see them looking. FINALLY he came and talked to me. We sat outside and talked for HOURS! The next day we had our first date and have been together since!
2) How did he propose?
An Arts and Jazz festival. We went to a secluded pot by creek. We could still here the music and were dancing and he whispered that he could not live his life without me and slipped the ring on my finger.
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day?
Saying our vowls. We wrote them our self and we were laughing so hard and crying all at the same time. They were so us and I felt so loved that I was marrying a guy who I loved so much.
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out?
We had been trying for 7 months. I was sick throwing up and we had just got another negative. We assumed if I was not pregnant I was sick and so we went to the doctor. They had me take another one on a whim and the came in and APOLOGIZED, assuming it was an accident, that I was pregnant. We were so excited that we were screaming. The poor nurse was like "oh you were trying...AWESOME!"
5) Name one of his best qualities.
He is just so geeky and sweet. It is a deadly combination! He says the sweetest dorky things and also takes such good care of me!
Fun!
1. I found him on fb LOL and wanted him to teach me Italian. We chatted online a lot then he asked me out to dinner at a tapas place and it was love at first sight :P
2. No proposal...we just decided to get married!
3. How carefree, romantic, and fun it was!
4. I knew I was pregnant, so I took a test just to confirm and I was jumping and screaming and he had a terrified look on his face LOL he wanted me to take another test.
5. He makes me feel great all the time and I can always be myself around him
1) How did you and your hubs meet?
In college, we were both music majors (studying opera). I was about to graduate (and was engaged to be married to someone else...and did) and he was an incoming freshman. A couple of years later I went back to the same school to do my grad studies and he was nearing graduation. We had the same voice teacher and were in the same performance classes. Years later our paths crossed again...we were hired to perform in the opera and were cast as husband and wife. By this time I was divorcing my first husband and well...the rest is history.
2) How did he propose?
Actually I was the one to officially propose getting married. It didn't go over well, at first. But weeks later, he surprised me with a trip to NYC to pick out an engagement ring!
3) What do you remember most about your wedding day?
The intimacy of being in the warm Hawaiian sun surrounded by 21 of our closest friends and family. The ocean, the tropical breezes and the swell of emotions...AMAZING!
4) How did you tell him you were pregnant? Or was he there when you found out?
It was his 32nd birthday and I had just flown in from New Zealand the night before. I had an inkling I might be PG since I was charting...I woke up super early and POAS. It was a FRER and came up with two lines right away! I capped the stick and climbed back into the bed and whispered "Happy Birthday Daddy" and placed the test in his hand.
5) Name one of his best qualities.
Incredible sense of humor...he makes me laugh every day!
