Christmas Eve Dinner Menu- what do you think?

I'm hosting Christmas Eve Dinner--- please tell me if I should change something or add something:

Munchies: I'll probably do some of the following:
corn/bean dip, buffalo chicken dip, veggies, maybe a small piece of brie baked in pastry with some jelly?

Dinner:
Chicken Cordon Bleu (stuffing in the recipe)
Roasted Potatoes
Green Beans
Salad/dinner rolls?

Dessert:
Chocolate Peanut Butter Torte
Red Velvet Cake Balls
Pecan Pie (Maybe?)

  • How many ppl?

Sounds delish! I think you'll be fine with two desserts regardless of #

  • I'd definitely do the brie (YUM) and maybe some cheese & crackers w/ the veggie tray.

Just one ? - there's stuffing in your Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe?  or are you just meaning your stuffing the chicken with the ham & cheese (sorry for being dense).

I'd definitely include at least the rolls - salad I could go either way.

Anyhow - other than my confusion over stuffing, it sounds delish!  :)

My recipe is a crockpot recipe, but I do it in the oven. I layer chicken, deli ham, swiss cheese and fat free cream of chicken soup then put stuffing on top and bake. It's so good.
