Ugh, we are in hell.
DS has been sick for a couple weeks, this past week being the worst of it with a horrible cough that wakes him up every couple hours. As if the lack of sleep wasn't bad enough, DH and I are now both sleep deprived and sick. And we both work full time. It wouldn't even help for me to take a sick day and keep DS home because he is a terrible napper.
How do you deal? Taking care of a sick baby, being sick yourself and not being able to catch up on your sleep?
Re: We are all sick and sleep deprived, anyone else?
We've all been sick since Thanksgiving- so about a month. Today I was so sleep deprived and sick that I passed out with my head on my desk at work. It was only about 10 minutes but it felt good and made such a difference!
Unless you're going to hire someone or have a friend come over and watch your LO, you just have to take some Tylenol or other meds and keep going. It sucks but it is what it is.

I'm going through the same thing right now. DD is not sick, but she has been constipated and is getting ready to pop a tooth, She has been sleeping AWFUL! I have a cough and chest congestion going on and I am trying not to give it to her, but I have a feeling she is going to end up getting it since I am taking care of her 24/7 pretty much. DH works midnights and had last night and has tonight off so he takes DD for the first part of the night which helps get me a couple extra hours of sleep.
Hang in there mama, you're not alone!
