Infant Care in Center City or University City

Hi!  I'm new to the boards, due in May 2011.  I'll be going back to work full-time, and I'm looking for daycare recommendations for infants in either Center City (where DH works) or West Philadelphia/University City (where I work).  I'm already on waiting lists for the Penn Center and the Parent Infant Center.  Thanks in advance!

  • Hi! We are neighbors :) I don't have anything new to offer - you're on the best lists already. Just wanted to say hi!
  • We're in CC but more towards South Street. DS is at My Bright Beginnings at 18th and South (mybrightbeginnings.net) -- it just opened this fall. We really love it there, the director is awesome.

We also looked at Kindercare at 18th and Market - a lot of people recommended that to us who have been happy there. My OB/GYN sends her kid to Busy Bees in the Curtis Center, and there's a new place that opened in the Wachovia Center (5th and Market) that a bunch of my coworkers use (and like). Hope that helps!

(for older kids...check out Trinity and Formative Years)
