NBR: Snow Day!!!

I'm so excited!!!  We have a snow day today.  We got some nasty freezing rain last night and into this morning.  We didn't get out call that school was cancelled unitl after 6:00 a.m.   Some teachers have to be at work at 7:00.  Talk about waiting until the last possible moment.  I was worried about what I was going to do.  My streets are a mess...  I don't only have my own saftey to think about anymore.  It's amazing how cautious I've become since finding out I was expecting.  Now, I don't have to worry though.  SNOW DAY!!!

    How does that work?  Do you guys add days on at the end of the year?  Will you go back tomorrow and then be on break?!

    We should get 'heat' days here in PHX - sometimes it is too hot for my little kiddos to be outside.

    My district works in an extra 5 days into the school year as cushion.  If we go over that, (which almost never happens,) then we would have to make them up at the end of the year.
