So we have a chance to get some tickets to a sharks game, but don't know if we could/should bring H with us.
I think he'd enjoy it, but honestly have no idea if he'll want to stay the whole time. We have earphones for him (we go to a lot of outdoor concerts with him) so I'm not worried about noise.
I just can't figure out if it's work buying him a 40 dollar seat or if i should try and find a sitter.
whatcha think? almost 3 yo will/won't enjoy a hockey game...
Re: Hockey fans question for ya,
We haven't taken our hockey fanatic to a game yet but plan to soon.
Several questions. Where are the seats? It can be really hard to stay interested for little ones if they don't know the game and are so far away that the players look teeny (from seats in the upper bowl past the first few rows). And what time is the game? Does he know how the game is played?
WE used to go to tons of games and saw tons of kids of varying levels of interest. Some are obviously crazed like my kid (who wakes up asking to play hockey every day), others not so much.
We haven't done hockey yet, only because we haven't had the opportunity. If we did, we totally would.
We have done baseball, basketball and football games with our son and he does great, but we do have to offer some distractions (popcorn, snacks, etc.).
It really depends on his interest level and where the seats are.
I have been to many games where there are kids who are totally interested and some who rather annoy me by kicking the back of my seat. :-)
Hockey games are usually at night, and I know it would be a real tough one at this age for my little guy.
I would leave him at home and have a great time! The train stops right in front of the shark tank and runs later on game nights.
