But I do think the problem with drop side cribs has more to do with the people who are using them not making sure they are in working condition. Not to mention, anything with moving parts is going to break more easily than something without moving parts. That's just common sense

agreed thats like the nap nanny and boppy, kids suffocated because their parents left them to sleep in it overnight when it specifically says for the child to stay spervised and not to sleep in overnight(nap nappy) or that it is strictly an infant positioning pillow and not a sleep device(boppy)
