I'm looking for a woven.  I have a moby, but I'm not in love with it.  But I'm really interested in doing back carries, my DD does not like to be put down very often.   I'm looking at a Vat Koira 4m on FSOT. Would this be a good beginners wrap?  Will it be long enough?  I'm 5'3.

I love Vats so I say absolutely!

What's your shirt size?  That matters more than your height in terms of what carries you can do.  I'm a size 4 and can do any carry with a 4 meter Vat - they have long tapers so they wrap "long."

I guess I'm a size 4 or 6.  I usually wear mediums.

You could definitely ruck and back wrap cross carry with it.  You might be able to double hammock with it as well although if that's a carry you really want to do, I'd try to find a bit longer one as having a bit of extra length can be helpful when you are learning.  Pretty much all the other back carries would work though.  For front carries you could definitely kangaroo and probably could front wrap cross carry and front cross carry.

Ok Thanks, I think I'll hold out for something a little longer then.
