Clomid & O pains

Hey ladies!

I was hoping some of you could share your experiences with me.  I have been told numerous times that O pains are more likely with Clomid, so some of my questions include...

Did you have O pains on Clomid?

How long did it last? (hrs, days, etc)

What CD did you have O pains?

Did the O pains end up being before or after O?

Any insight is appreciated! TIA!

    Yes, O pains are definately more likely with Clomid. I had O pains the day I O'd (CD15). It lasted from the time I woke up that morning to around 10:00am. So my O pains were either just before or during O.

    after anovulatory diagnosis and TTC for 1 1/2yrs with several medicated cycles and one chemical pregnancy, we have our first bundle of joy!

    I had O type of pains from seven days before my IUI (CD 8) and up too two days after (CD 17). Before my IUI I called them growing pains (eggs growing) and after the IUI I figured them to be O'ing and a side effect of the IUI procedure. Everyone is different. Hope this helps. GL!

    Clomid gave me horrible O pains. I was practically doubled over in pain for the few hours surrounding it. I would have the pain only on the day of O ( varied each time as each time I had my IUI on a different CD). I'm not sure when I O's vs the pain, but it would always be several hours after my IUI.

    I had "growing pains" on clomid. felt like strong cramps. The worst was the day of IUI, which was yesterday. had a trigger shot Saturday night and iui Monday morning. Monday evening I felt really bloated and crampy. today is much better. Now to survive the TWW without going crazy.

    This is only my first cycle on Clomid, but I have had noticeable "growing pains" and O pains for a couple days prior to O, which I believe was today since the pains have ceased. GL!
    TTC #1 since Oct 2009, Dx: Unexplained Infertility
    HSG: Right tube all clear, left tube inconclusive
    3 failed Clomid Cylces
    4/5 lap revealed blocked left tube, but right tube is open
    April/May- 50 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1= CANCELLED left ovary ovulating
    June 1- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #1 = BFN
    June 28- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #2 =BFP!
    7/12 Beta #1= 14 Beta #2= >5 Chemical Pregnancy :(
    July-Nov long break to recover emotionally and financially
    Nov 24- 100 mg Clomid + Ovidrel + IUI #3= BFN
    Jan 22- Gonal-F + Ovidrel + IUI# 4 = CANCELLED no response on right
    IVF #1- Start stims 4/7, ER 4/20, 21R, 14F, 6 frosties, ET 4/25, 2 embryos transferred= BFN :(
    FET #1- June 2012, Lurpon starts 5/27- CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 2- August 2012, delayed until Sept-CANCELLED
    FET #1 take 3- ET 10/11, 2 embryos transferred,= BFFN
    FET #2- Transfer 12/4--Cancelled, no embies survived thaw :(
    Next steps-- IVF #2 with new RE in March
    HOLY SURPRISE BFP 2/15/13!!!! Beta 1- 286, Beta 2- 782, First Ultrasound 2/25- baby in uterus & all looks good!

    I basically feel like my uterus and ovaries are sore and almost like they are falling out, so I think those are my o pains.  They usually start about 36 hours before I o...at least that is what I've figured.  Good luck to you!

    I used clomid and trigger.  I triggered CD15 at 9am.  CD16 at 10am I had an IUI.  The afternoon to the evening of CD16, I had definite twinges and I NEVER get O pains or twinges, it was kind of weird actually feeling it!  I had 2 follies on one side and 1 big one on the other and I felt it on both sides.  The evening of CD16 I felt the pains EXTREMELY.

     I know it sounds ridiculous but I wouldn't believe it myself if I hadn't actually felt it personally.

    11/10: IUI #1 =100mg Clomid CD4-8 + pregnyl trigger + IUI = chemical pregnancy
    1/11: IUI #2 = 5mg Femara + trigger + IUI = BFN
    2/11: IUI #3 = injectibles + trigger + IUI = BFN
    IVF #1 April 2011 ER 4/23 w/16 eggs retrieved, 14 mature, 11 fert., 4 blasts to freeze, 5dt of 2 blasts on 4/28, beta #1 5/7 = 243... beta #2 5/9 = 491....beta #3 5/11 = 1113!!
