His "big" gift this year is going to be an hour-long massage. We are trying to have a smaller Christmas this year, and I think we are going to have a 3d/4d ultrasound done as a joint gift.
All my gifts for DH are super nerdy, let me say that DH is a comic book nerd and was in the nuclear department in the NAVY. He's a science nerd too...so I got him a set of books called The Physics of Superheros, a Dr who Tshirt, The Watchmen and Kick Ass movies, and another book called General Animal Ignorance..he has another book by the authors called General Ignorance that he loves.
I got DH an iPod classic because he broke the iPod he had and insisted that he needed one with more space....DS is giving him an iHome as well. Then just basics, pj's an ornament and maybe a gift card to Lowes. Doesnt seem like much but what he is getting is expensive!
We really don't need anything right now and are trying to save some money. We decided to exchange one small baby gift. I am going to get him a onsie or baby towel with a "daddy" saying on it.

Fishing waders - doesn't sound like much, right. But these are around $200! He better appreciate it! I know he will...he has been saying he wants them for 4 months now
I think I am going to get him a Cuisinart G4 griddler.
ugh. my husband bought himself a griddler before we were even living together, and it's been in storage at his parent's house for 2+years. he's constantly talking about it, and always meaning to pick it up. a few weeks ago i totally reorganized our very tiny kitchen, and finally got everything the way i wanted, with NO extra room. what comes home a few days later? the gridller. the big, roomy, griddler. it is a cool gadget, but i flipped out and told him to find a place for it because i was done. needless to say it's still sitting in its box on the kitchen floor.
Because we are trying to save money, we set a $100 limit on our gifts to each other this year. I am getting DH a carhartt jacket and a rice cooker (because he thinks he can make Qdoba type burritos if he has a rice cooker - we will see about that haha).
i got him a shirt, a carhart hat, a reallly good knife and a knife shappener and im going to get him a pair of baby jordans that match his favorite pair or maybe a pair of little tims. we arent going big on presents this yearr
I got mine some stocking stuffer type stuff (pjs, socks, underwear, etc) and then for the BIG thing, a dinner at a lodge in upstate Maryland that's hosted by the Sam Adams Brewery and an overnight in the same hotel.
My siblings and I exchange gifts by drawing a name and my DH is being included this year so my brother got him this https://www.dadgear.com/gear_details.cfm?ID=58. Which I thought was cute.
I got him a Cleveland Browns winter hat...one of those kind with the fur lined inside and the floppy ears. Also a few $5 movies off of Amazon like "The Hangover" and one with Clint Eastwood in it, whom he loves. Also he loves tractors and is refurbishing his grandpa's old tractor. So I made a large photo collage with pictures of him with relatives and tractors he has.
I got my husband a pair of golf rain pants, an ergo baby performance and infant insert. We getting each other one non-baby and one baby-related present!
