Uncirc'd Physical Exam ?

Does your pediatrician manipulate the foreskin a bit or does he or she just leave it alone? I'm trying to gauge what's normal for an exam. 

For the record, as parents we know to not and have not forced retraction. The doctor checks the meatus and how far the foreskin retracts without force. I wince every time she goes to examine him. He hasn't seem bothered by it.

I've never had a doctor do that to either of my sons. I'm fairly certain they're not supposed to do anything to it?
