I just saw a commercial for ABCs what would you do? It says it'll air Friday, but I'm not sure if its this coming Friday or if it was the one that just passed since what I'm watching is on my DVR.
Its what would you do if you saw a heavily pregnant woman not only drinking but getting drunk.
I know she wouldn't like me. I think I'll have to watch this (if it is this Friday coming).

Re: ABCs What Would You Do?
I saw that preview too...it looks like one lady didn't even mind! I honestly would have asked her if she has been going to her OB regularly, and if she replied yes then I would ask who they are and if they told her drinking was 'ok'. SMH I hope I never really seeing a pregnant woman throwing back drinks like that though.
(You ever see the posters in some restaurants that say "A Pregnant Woman Never Drinks Alone" ? I never understood why anyone would serve drinks to a pregnant woman, but many bartenders do)

I don't think I would say anything only because it's so futile. If telling her to stop would actually make her stop I would, but a pregnant woman drinking knows she shouldn't be, there are signs in every bar/liquor store (at least here in CA) specifically explaining the effects of alcohol on unborn children.
It's horrifically sad and unfair that a pregnant woman has the power over her unborn child to endanger it's health in that way, but our laws support the rights of the mother over the rights of the baby (otherwise abortion would be illegal) so there's really nothing you can do. I might be so angry I'd say something just to try to stop her, but really, there's nothing you can do. It's not right but it's not illegal.
