Per this thread, we're hoping to condense a lot of the "gawker" threads into one! We thought this would make them more fun to browse and the board an easier read. We'll start a new thread every day to keep the list fresh.

Anyone is welcome to add to the post--local hospital names, the awful name you over heard at the park, Facebook horrors, and anything else that might give us a good chuckle! Feel free to comment, too!

Seen on tv Happy Birthday list: Cam'Ron (boy?)

Seen on a parade float ( why they listed the childrens names IDK): Brinsley (girl)

Daughter's Kindergarten classmates: Dra'travyan (boy), Alexi (girl ...not that weird but I'm used to the Russian name Alexei for a boy)

Son's classmate: Daeondreous( boy pronounced Day-ON-dray-us.

Brinsley is awful. They just took my least favorite made up name (Kinsley) to a whole new level of insanity.

Some from my old job first and last names Summer Ham , Morgan Morgan, Crystal Ball. Why do this to your kids .  An Mwafak I don't even know how to say it and when I try it almost sounds like a bad word....It a first name..

Watching Pregnant and in Peril on TLC. There is this pregnant woman who was chased by a bear into a road and was hit by a car. Everything ended up being OK - thank goodness - with her and the baby.  They decide to name the baby: Imagine Little Bear Catherine Swenson Daily. The last two names are their last names.  O.o

'Ruby Scarlet Crimson' was in the birth announcements a couple years ago.

My mom is a teacher and in her class one year she had a student named La-a. She pronounced it like Leia and the girl's mom said "the dash ain't silent, its La"dash"a." .....
