Heard the HB last Friday

I was supposed to have my appt. on Wednesday but dr. got called in to an emergency surgery minutes before I showed up to my appt. so it was rescheduled for Friday morning, which worked out perfectly since I was already off work.

I knew not to expect to hear the HB because it may have still been early, the baby could have been in a weird position or something as well.  I got to hear a nice strong 165bpm heartbeat!  The dr found it pretty quickly but I couldn't quite catch on right away.  He had to drum it out on my leg to help me hear it.  

What an amazing sound!

That is very exciting! Nothing like hearing their little hearts for the first time! Congrats!

Congrats! I have my 12 weeks appt on Friday ( I will be 12w5d) I hope I get to hear the hb as well.
