No-sew fleece BW poncho?

Has anyone made one of these? I found instructions on a blog (here) and they confused the hell out of me! I'm not very crafty. Are there simpler instructions somewhere, or does anyone have tips (or even better, would someone make me one?! ) We're moving from Wyoming to New Mexico, and I'm happily ditching all my coats and am hoping to make it through the winter with a poncho only!

sorry never made a poncho, but had to ask where in New Mexico are you moving?  I've always wanted to move to Albuquerque or Santa Fe.  I keep trying to get DH to transfer there...hmm one day.  I think it looks so beautiful!

We're headed to Albuquerque! DH separated from the Air Force and got a job with a defense contractor there (working on base, ironically). I'm excited for some warmer weather, and I get to keep my mountains!

Illinois isn't so bad! My folks are in the Chicago suburbs and love it (although we're all native Texans!).

Yeah I've lived in Illinois all my life.  NW suburbs of Chicago.  I want the warmer weather and would love to look at mountains and not flat land..lol  We are dealing with bad weather this weekend and I was just telling DH to rethink Albuquerque.  I honestly think at some point I'll convince him to move out west.

I made a couple!  I just took two yards of fleece, cut it into a circle, then did one hole in the middle (or slightly off center) and that was it.

You could also do two head holes, I just find it hard enough to get Grace into one big one.
