Stupid question about diaper rash..

What does it look like? We've never experienced it before. When I took DS's diaper off at bath time I noticed all of these raised red bumps in his diaper area. They almost looked like blisters or pimples. Is that diaper rash or something I should be concerned about??

yeah, that's a rash. Use water and washcloths instead of wipes, a thick diaper rash cream or Lotramin Ultra. Also, let him play in a warm bath with about 3 spoonfuls of baking soda about twice a day. That should clear it up.

It likely is.  We've been real good about preventing, but any slight change in diet or teething can make it look angry (like what you described).  When that happened to us we used Triple Paste and it was gone by next diaper change.  GL!

Thanks! I slathered him in diaper cream and put him in a disposable for bed. I'll try the baking soda tomorrow.
