DH and I ordered the baby's crib today!  We scored an awesome deal from Walmart.com.  We got a convertible crib with a rolling storage drawer underneath for $97!  They had free shipping and so after tax it was only $104!!!!  It should be here before Christmas!  Buying big things makes it all feel so much more real!  Also I just got called and  there is no school tomorrow!  We have lots of blowing snow and tomorrow morning when all the kids are walking or waiting at the bus stop the wind chill is supposed to be   -17, so they called it off!  The rumor is true, teachers love snow days as much as the kids!!!  Hope everyone else is either having better weather or is inside and staying safe and warm!

Extended (unexpected) weekend!

I have my fingers crossed here in St. Louis!!  Same here blowing snow and really cold wind chills.  Some schools have already called off.  However, I'm in a bigger district which is always the last to call off, (that is if they do it at all.)  I've been sick all weekend and could really use another day of rest. 

Congrats on the crib!!!  How exciting!

We got the Storkcraft Chelsea 4-in-1 crib in cognac!  And yes, I am having a way extended weekend!  I took Thursday off cause I didn't feel well and Friday off for a workshop and dr's appointment so this will make a 5 day weekend for me!  Woohoo!

Hey Katie!  I am also a teacher in St. Louis that works in a larger district.  I wonder if we teach in the same one?  Mine starts with a P. What about you?  I had my fingers crossed but it seems like we will be going to school tomorrow!
