Just Cannot Seem To Flip LO From Sleeping During Day Instead of Night

LO has been sleeping during the day and up all night for a few weeks now.  DH is with him during the day while I am working and he doesn't seem overly interested in switching him but it is driving me nuts on the nights I am in charge of LO (every other night).

On the weekends I try to switch him back but it seems almost impossible.  I've tried getting him out for walks, going out in public, going out in the car, talking to him, playing with him etc.  He is just absolutely zonked out.  Then around 11pm he is wide, wide awake.  We have three dogs and their barking does not phase him when he is sleeping. 

Any ideas?  DH goes back to work next week and LO starts daycare.  I'm hopeful that might switch him back but I'm not counting on it.

The thing that worked for Oliver is when we made night time boring. No eye contact and dark rooms with limited noise.  When he got bored he would sleep. Good luck!

during the day make sure the baby is never deep asleep.  when he naps, nudge him to make him flinch every 20-30 mins.  This will help to make him more tired at night.

Then at night, keep things quiet and boring.  During the day loud with lots of activity.

Your husband has to be on with this or else it will not work.  It takes about 5-6 days to switch them.  if your husband does not help, it will not happen.
