Re: crib bumpers

  • So so sad.  We didn't use bumpers with DS and won't again this time around.  When he started sleeping all over the place we got the breathable bumper and that seemed much safer than the traditional ones, but to me....its not worth the risk!
  • Loading the player...
  • ditto on the breathable bumpers. We did the same till DD was pulling up.

  • we never did any type of bumpers withmy DD.   She always slept in a sleep sack so that helped with her feet/legs not getting stuck.

  • Incredibly sad, but I have to wonder where she was living and how she cannot have heard about the bumper dangers. I feel that EVERY store I go to, have signs saying not to put ANYTHING in the crib other than the baby even a bumper. I have been hearing about this for years, it amazes me that people in the states haven't.

Our DD still sleeps in a sleep sack. I'm going to keep her in one until we transition to a big girl bed... I don't want her tempted to climb out of her crib.

I think that too, but then I see people on TV with blankets, pillows, stuffed animals, etc in the crib!! (okay, okay, it was on 16 and pregnant and that girl also rode a horse holding her baby...)
