2nd D&C experiences anyone?

I'm struggling quite a bit physically with this recovery compared to my first D&C.  Anyone else have a more difficult time with #2?

    I did not have a D & C with either of my losses but I will say that the second one was much harder physically and emotionally.  I was farther along with #2 so I think that made a difference.  I hope you're hanging in there and that things start to get better for you soon.

    I had more cramping the second time but my period came back more quickly and I felt less "hungover" from the m/c (if that makes sense).  I was about the same way along but my beta numbers were lower throughout the second m/c pregnancy so that might have had something to do with it.  As PP said, emotionally it was a million times worse.

    I hope you feel better soon - and take your pain meds if you need them!  Your body will heal faster if you are not also struggling with pain.
